Very nice pictures, it sounds pritty cool to fish in your city by that nice bridge. Also you can take your rod to work and when you finish go to the river.

Regards.

David
I think thats the one and its free to fish. There are a few spots off the Cork road around Ryecourt and Crookstown where you can access it at bridges, only about 10 feet across and mostly small trout but very nice. If you don't have Peter O'Reilly's book Rivers of Ireland it's well worth it , lists pretty much every river in the country, season, permits etc.

Hi Steve, is the River Bride the one that you cross at Ovens on the way to Ballincollig?

I am away in England for a while in February but might try the Bride before I go. Is it free to fish or day ticket ?

David
if you can't wait until the 2nd of March (I know I won't be!), the South Bride, quite near to Macroom, is a lovely stream, which opens on the 15th Feb.
